The urinary system consist of the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder and the urethra. The job of the kidneys is to filter out the blood and remove waste and produce urine. The ureters are tubes connected to the kidneys that carry urine down to the bladder. The urinary bladder is a sac like organ that stores the urine until it is ready to be released. Lastly, the urethra is the tube in which urine is released from the body.
